ETC DESIGN CENTER EUROPE SHOWS NOVELTIES AT
FLOURISHING WINTER EDTION CONSUMER INSPIRATION DAY
Last Sunday the last Consumer Inspiration Day of the year took place.
And at this flourishing winter edition, ETC Design Center Europe presented
various novelties of various exhibitors. VITA DI LUSSO encountered
with some of those ‘Masters of Interior’ and shows you some of that creativity.
Have a look!
Cunera reveals new color blocking rugs
Completely ‘on top of trend’, Cunera revealed a number of color blocking rugs of the Danish brand Fraster. These flourishing rugs are made of wool felt, which is a 100% sustainable product and can be easily mixed and matched because of the colour- and pattern possibilities. Perfect for architects, designers and stylists! Next to that, this material is also suitable for acoustic applications.
Since 1870, Cunera productes floor covering and carpets of cocos, sea grass, paper, leather, wool and combinations of those. At this moment, the rugs of Fraster are exclusively available via Cunera in ETC Design Center Europe, but most likely soon available at many other locations.
Flourishing stories of Patrick Kooiman
Recently, Patrick Kooiman launced his book ‘Volume’, wherein he literally takes readers along the favourite locations of the most influencing interior designers. At this Winter Edition of the Consumer Inspiration Day, Kooiman shared their extraordinary homes and stories as well as some of their ‘geheimtipps’. From lighting to greenery and from art to vintage. Also Kooiman showed his own flourishing living space, which he painted pink a few months ago.
One of Kooiman’s golden rules is to search for second hand design icons and during his reading, supported by beautiful images of beautiful spaces, he encouraged his listeners to follow that example.
Valpaint shows Italian Autumn Colors
Valpaint is one of the leader Italian firms in the decoration paints and coatings market. Founded in 1988 and considered to be one of the most advanced firms on a technological level. In their collection you will find high quality, sustainable coatings in various colours, patterns and effects.
The so called ‘Klondike’ rusty paint, is a water-based paint for indoor use and can be applied to a wide range of surfaces. Next to that, Klondike is breathable, washable and may also be painted over with any other water-based paint.
In the showroom at ETC Design Center Europe, not only did Valpaint fixed some walls, but also for instance a fire place and even a SMEG fridge. This paint is available in rusty brown, as well as in shades of green and yellow and therefor the perfect product for creating an Autumn look in your home.
BexclusiV makes its début with decorative doors
René Boudewijns and his wife Valérie are already well-known in the Dutch interior branch and it was in September 2018 they (finally!) opened their first showroom at ETC Design Center Europe. René: ”During the years, we expanded our activities and here we can show our collections in a stylish way to those who are interested.
At today’s Winter Edition we make our début with these decorative doors of the Italian brand Vivaporte. These doors are harnessed on a wooden frame and finished with a lacquer, which is available in any colour you want.” Valérie shows me that afterwards, the doors are provided with luxury, handmade door handles, such as gold with a leather inlay or for instance bronze combined with crystal. Because this concerns bespoke design, the customer determines the ‘personality’ of the product. Keep an eye on these Masters of Interior for more master pieces!
This flourishing Winter Edition was closed with a colourful presentation of the world famous brand Farrow & Ball. They showed the visitors no less than nine new colours!
At 10 and 17 December, ETC Design Center Europe organizes a Winter Sale for trade visitors, whereafter they will close their doors for the festive season at 24thDecember. Consumers can already look forward to Sunday 3rd February, when the Masters of Interior will present their Spring / Summer Collections 2019. See you then!
