PURE ITALIAN ELEGANCE
AT PROJECT PRINSENEILAND BY STUDIO CO
Prinseneiland in Amsterdam is a wonderful place to escape the crowd.
This island is part of the ‘Mokumse Archipel’ and is located right in the middle of the city centre.
Seperated by the characteristic ‘Drieharingenbrug’, Prinseneiland is a world of its own.
Since the beginning it is famous for its typical warehouses, originally built around the shipyards.
But as from today it is the beautiful décor of a prestigious interior project of Co van der Horst!
VITA DI LUSSO was invited for the preview and had an inspiring talk with all parties involved.
The next level
After World War II, Prinseneiland became a true hotspot for artists and musicians but nowadays it is a very attractive living and working environment.
Dutch real estate company Zuiver Vastgoed managed to get one of the historical buildings and transformed six spaces in a few exclusive lofts. Thereafter, these high end renovated apartments were completely furnished by Studio Co of Co van der Horst. And as from the 5thof April they are for sale via Broersma Makelaardij.
Stephan van der Horst: “Turn-key completion was already quite known for rental accommodations. With this project Co van der Horst and its business partners are showing we are ready for the next level.”
‘Calipso’, the ground floor apartment, was given a contemporary avant-garde look. The timeless furniture pieces of Molteni match perfectly with the original elements of the loft, like the wooden beams in the ceiling and the old brick wall in the long corridor. And the steel doors are totally aligned with this style.
On the right side of the entrance we find the dining room, where Studio Co placed a round dining table. On the left side there is the kitchen area as well as the lounge, with a fabulous view on the patio. The long corridor leads you tot the bed- and bathrooms.
The oak floor connects all the spaces in a very natural way and is beautifully dressed with a comfortable rug of Frankly Amsterdam in the lounge.
On the first floor there is the more compact apartment ‘Dolce’, which was transformed into a dandy high-end look. And the classy FLEXFORM furniture surely contributes to this Dolce Vita!
From out of the lounge you have a stunning view on the bridge, the waters and the city. And at the backside of the loft you can relax on the lavish balcony and enjoy the sun.
Chantal Vermeulen (interior designer and project leader): “These two lofts exactly show what Studio Co wants to express. Stunning interiors, completely in harmony with the spaces, can only be realised by using the right mixture of materials and styles. Giving the customer total peace of mind on every aspect during the process. From supervision to completion, including the styled fruit platter if you wish.”
The two lofst are for sale, respectively for € 1,75 en € 1,35 million ctb.
