SALON DES ARTS
AT SIEMATIC AMSTERDAM
Dutch Luxury Design and PrinsPR are our partners when it comes to our first edition of Salon Des Arts,
which started at SieMatic at the Vondelpark in early March. SieMatic previously organized art exhibitions,
but the works of three artists have never been shown at the same time. Salon Des Arts is a true
Art & Design Experience, curating works of art that seamlessly match the product designs
of the Associate in question. In this case, therefore, the SieMatic kitchens.
Salon Des Arts opens with a festive opening, after which the exhibition starts.
The flagship store of SieMatic Netherlands is located in the museum district, in the heart of Amsterdam. The historic building near the Vondelpark is a stone’s throw away from various museums and therefor many enthusiasts of art and interior drop by.
“Of course SieMatic customers initially are looking for a new kitchen, but we notice that they also embrace the art we present here. Since the opening of this location in 2015, we have therefore been organizing exhibitions and the response has been very positive,” thus Rainier Zweep, director of SieMatic Nederland.
SieMatic was the first kitchen manufacturer who introduced the handle-free kitchen. It is therefore logical that the Westphalian kitchen producer, while celebrating its 90th anniversary, emphasizes the new interpretation of the handle-less kitchen: the SieMatic SLX PURE. This new kitchen concept has been received with great enthusiasm by professionals all over the world and has also won the attention of the international experts in the jury of the “ICONIC AWARDS 2020 Innovation Interior”. The SLX PURE won the award “Best of Best” in the category “Kitchen and household”.
Artworks by artists Jos Out, Danielle van Herk and Erlinde Boersma were carefully selected to match the SieMatic collections seamlessly in terms of natural materials, colors and design. We are very proud of the end result!
Associates Des Arts believes that art and interior belong together and propagates that. Ruud van der Splinter: at Salon Des Arts we not only conncet art and interior, but we also blend the networks.
During the opening and the exhibition itself, relations from SieMatic as well as those of the artist ánd Associates Des Arts will be invited. In this way we stimulate cross-fertilization, with which we create value for this industry in an inspiring way.”
Salon Des Arts – SieMatic aan het Vondelpark can be visited until August 2020. Address: Hobbemastraat 2 in Amsterdam. For more information about the exhibition or SieMatic, visit www.associatesdesarts.com.
