WANNAHAVE

This week our Wannahave is "Passage" by Daniëlle van Herk. Passage (100 x 120 cm) is a painting made of acryl on canvas.
Creativity has always been a common thread in Daniëlle´s life and she likes to explore that by doing all kinds of creative workshops like silk-painting, goldsmith, felting, stained glass and photography.
But most of all she loves to paint and at this point in her life she is happy to spend much more time at her studio. A day of painting usually starts with a walk in nature companied by her dog. Back at the studio she puts on some music and lets intuition and sensitivity do their job as she comes in a creative flow.
Inspiration comes from her unfiltered sensitivity and eye for detail and ambiance when she is among people or by herself in nature; reflecting her thoughts.

Last month at Maison & Objet in Paris, the Italian top label Baxter opened the pop-up club 'Silvera' in Saint-Germain on the famous Rive Gauche.
The chosen colors, blue and burgundy, created a refined and extremely relaxed atmosphere. An excellent opportunity to inspire visitors when it comes to interior design and at the same time to spoil them with a fresh cocktail.
In Milan, Baxter has set up a permanent Baxter Bar in addition to their impressive showroom. So you know where to find me during Milan Design Week😉

VITA'S LIBRARY

Last week, I told you how I met top designer Remy Meijers and that I would inspire you with his designs this month.
Today I picked out his project 'Penthouse Amsterdam',
which was published in his second book 'Simply Elegant' as well.
With the available 240 square meters, Remy had to make royal gestures. I just love the perfect balance between the interior and Remy's handwriting and the clear own identity which you can see through the residents' art collection.
