How nice! This month, Flinders Design is my guest editor, which means that every Sunday you are pampered with a beautiful moodboard, in which we highlight one of their brands.
Because I love Italian design myself, we have selected a number of top Italian brands. This first December Lazy Sunday, Kartell is on stage. Kartel is a very successful Italian design house and has been a global leader in furniture, lighting and accessories for more than 50 years. As you may have heard already, Venice is seeing its worst flooding in decades, after an unusually high tide inundated the city. Let us hope that this ‘acqua alta’ will not discourage them and that damage to the so many historical buildings and heritage will be limited🙏.
In particular, my thoughts go out to @rubelli_group and their beautiful headquarters.
