IMM COLOGNE – LIVING KITCHEN 2019;
THE KEY EVENT FOR THE INTERNATIONAL KITCHEN SECTOR
Traditionally, the Koelnmesse kicks of the new year with one of world’s most leading furniture fairs:
IMM Cologne. This January also LIVNG KITCHEN took place; the key event fort he international
kitchen sector. From innovative presentations by manufacturers to premieres of new kitchen furniture,
electrical appliances, accessories to cooking and trend shows. Of course, VITA DI LUSSO was curious
about the latest kitchen innovations and trends and indeed got a glimpse into the future
of the entire kitchen industry.

Cooking on ceramic
A very spectacular novelty is the xxinixx induction cooking plate, which I spotted at the stand of Dekker Zevenhuizen. We all know the glass induction plates, but much more stylish is this invisible one. It containes five cooking zones, which are placed under the ceramic kitchen worktop. So no obstacles on your kitchen worktop anymore and so easy to clean as well!

Small but mighty
Maxime Augay, one of the ‘Pure Talents of LIVING KITCHEN, designed a mini portable kitchen hood and impressed visitors with the design as well as with the well thought-out functionality. With this product, Augay steps into the future, wherein we all shall live in smaller houses and need to equip ourselves with practical stuff only.

Fresh food, less waste
For years, we have seen products launched which can vacuum all types of food. But now one would like to have another device on their kitchen worktop. Quva found an elegant solution, which is integrated in the kitchen worktop. When pushing the button it pops up, and there you go. Friendly for people and environment!

A touch of magic
Since 2014, Jansen & de Bont create sophisticated light objects with a touch of magic. At LIVING KITCHEN, Mattijs Jansen and Jorg de Bont presented three designs: the Wall, the Pendant and the Shelf. All equipped with sensors, which can be switched on and off with just a simple hand motion. To create even more sphere in the room, you can change the direction of the light or adjust the colour.

For those who found this interesting, stay tuned, because VITA DI LUSSO will have more kitchen news in March!
