THE OUTDOOR COLLECTIONS OF KETTAL;
SUBORDINATE TO THE ELEMENTS OF NATURE
Next week I will visit IMM Cologne 2020 and I am so looking forward to it!
Traditionally, the interior branch kicks off the new season at this exhibition
in Cologne, which is full of trends and novelties and therefor puts us in the mood.
In addition to a number of customer visits, this time I will mainly focus
on the latest outdoor collections. On February 11, I organize the press event
Interior Related – The Outdoor Edition in collaboration with PrinsPR.
In the run-up to all this, I already give you a preview of the new collections
of the leading Spanish outdoor label Kettal. Check it out!

RESTRAINED MODERN AS A PRINCIPLE
Beautiful minimalism under the sun. That is how you can summarize the mission of the Spanish outdoor label Kettal, which is known for its sleek appearance and subdued colors. “Bright colors are more appropriate indoors”, say Alex and Manueal Alorda, who are now leading the family business. “Outside you have the trees, the sun and the water. The furniture should not compete with all those elements of nature.”
Kettal creates timeless, functional and expressive outdoor furniture that represents a contemporary culture. And their collections offer solutions for the emerging needs of modern life, based on a mix of creativity, customization, innovation and modern production.

COLLABORATIONS WITH LEADING DESIGNERS
Kettal develops specific products for specific projects and therefore collaborates with “only the big ones” in the international design scene, such as Patricia Urquiola and Rodolfo Dordoni. And together they contribute to what ultimately leads to a well-rounded, innovative and unique collection.
Nevertheless, design today is not just about beautiful products, or hiring a great designer. It is also about innovation; you must apply new technologies and apply differentiation. Kettal strives to innovate with new, not yet developed materials, which reflects the latest collections.

EYE-CATCHING MOLO AND BAND ON STAGE
During the IMM Cologne 2020, Kettal will present, among others, Molo designed by Dordoni; a typical example of a modular sofa in its purest form, where the focus is not on the decorative elements, comfort or functionality present, but rather on the different combinations of materials.
In addition, they show Band designed by Urquiola, consisting of a dining room chair and a club chair, where raw materials, such as aluminum and teak, are key.
You can find Kettal at IMM Cologne in Hall 3.2, stand number E020. See you there!
