TUYTELAERS; STRONG IN STONES
FOR MORE THAN 60 YEARS
This Belgian family company has one of the largest stone collections in the entire Benelux.
They only work with the best brands, like Inalco from Spain, Cotto d’Este, Del Conca
and Ceasarstone from Italy. For more than 60 years they are specialized in customized stones
and they keep on developing themselves. Time to give you an update!

Italians do it better
Wasn’t it Madonna, who had this quote on one of her sensational outfits? She was right though; Italian seem to be the best in almost anything. Although they miss the World Soccer Championchips, just like the Dutchies. In contrast to the Belgian… but I will save that subject for later.
When it comes to stones, the Italian are insurmountable. The marble caves in Carrara, in the Northwest of Toscany, are world famous and already used by Michelangelo for his artworks. Nowadays these caves are still the largest suppliers of our marble. Huge pieces of marble are being used mainly in the interior business. Tuytelaers has a number of power sawing machines, which can saw pieces of 600x250cm to plate material. Tuytelaers likes to buy directly from the source so that they can always guarantee top quality.

Milan Design Week
During the last edition of the Milan Design Week, Tuytelaers’ business partners showed elegant kitchen- and bathroom formations in a très chic black-white-grey combination. And Ceasarstone asked Snarkitecture to create a huge installation, where cooking and quality time with friends and family would melt in a spectacular way. It was presented under the name ‘Altered and you could not have missed it!
Stones are ‘hot’ and colors are certainly allowed. Last year we saw many shades of green, but this year also red and yellow were spotted. Therefor it seemed quite logical that Tuytelaers posted some yellow, red and black granite plates on their Facebook page. A smart wink to the Red Devils in Russia playing their best soccer matches ever! For the upcoming years Tuytelaers can face the challenge to combine purple and blue shades; the trend colors of 2019.

Outside and inside
Stones can be used both outside and inside. A big advantage in a time where people have the need to smoothly blend their in- and exteriors. It also emits a certain unity and peacefulness. The next few years the industrial look will continue. Caesarstone supports this trend with its new ‘Metropolitan Collection’ and Inalco found its stars in ‘Vint’ and ‘Boreal’.

But whatever the trends may be, Tuytelaers is more than ready for it. Would you like to be advised about stones? Please do not hesitate to enter the beautiful showroom in Ravels (Belgium) or check their website and/or Facebookpage.
