CREATES DREAM HOUSE IN THE DUTCH FLOWER REGION
Some time ago, in a historic village in the Dutch flower region, the sale of a number of plots
on a beautiful site overlooking the water started. Initially, the residents made an offer for the largest lot,
but the residents doubted the shape and location of it, so they decided to abandon it.
However, the saying goes: “Where a door closes, a window opens.” And it did!

It takes two to tango
However, this unexpected setback did not stop the residents from building a house at this location. There were three beautiful lots left. In the meantime, they found an architect. Together with them they looked at other plots and apart from that they went out on their own. That turned out to be a good approach; they soon found a house in their desired style. Together with the architect, the residents created their dream house based on this model, including the desired style and layout. But the lot turned out to be a bit small compared to the new home to be realized. Residents: “Then we came up with the idea to buy two lots. A great solution for our plans.” The civil servant succeeded in issuing the permit so that the construction of their dream house could finally begin.

The ideal partner
After the exterior of the house was determined, the layout of the house had to be considered. After the first sketch, new insights popped up. Residents: “Moreover, we wanted to take into account the wishes of our son. That’s why we searched for an interior professional and found Daniela Cupello Interior Design. Already at the first meeting we connected. Daniela listened carefully to our story, had already taken along some fabrics and materials that appealed to us immediately because of the warm and luxurious appearance and then bent over the map. Very quickly she came with an advice about a rerouting. We particularly liked her ideas about a number of rooms on the first floor. And when she also proposed a solution with regard to the sanitary on the ground floor, we were convinced: Daniela Cupello was the ideal partner for the total interior concept. ”

The ultimate wow-factor
The residents really aimed for the ultimate “wow feeling” at this house. Well, there is! The spacious hall with the imposing staircase and the warm, stylish decoration of the interior fulfill everyone’s expectations. In the color palette you find Daniela’s Italian touch: chic, durable hues in black, gray and taupe, interspersed with accent colors such as gold and ocher yellow.
At the front of the house the spacious kitchen is situated. This is completely made to measure, just like all cupboards in the living room, bathroom and on the entire upper floor. Furthermore, there are a number of well-known furniture items, such as the chairs in the dining and in the living room at the rear of the house as well. Those furniture pieces were presented at ETC Design Center Europe in Culemborg. The green accessories, the curtains and some artworks were also spotted at ETC Design Center Europe and bought by one of the interior stores nearby.

Translating wishes into style
So-called Airspots have been used throughout the home, combining lighting and ventilation in a stylish ceiling fixture. These Airspots catched Daniela’s eyes during a visit to the Architecten@Work fair in Belgium. The walk-in closet is also a real eye-catcher, with the steel doors and the custom-made cupboards. Daniela: “The collaboration with the residents was very good. During such a process you build a bond with clients and you are able to translate their wishes into a concrete style with associated products. To combine different styles and tastes in a suitable concept for clients, I find the most challenging of this profession.”

The property looks fantastic! A dream house in a beautiful place; I think everybody wants that!
