BOFFI PRESENTS COLLABORATION WITH
MINGARDO AT SUMMER EVENT
Boffi Rotterdam is located at Blaak, in the heart of the city centre. And since Charlie Esson
was appointed as Store Manager, nice events take place on a regular basis where art, objects,
food and interiors are being combined with the Boffi kitchens.
During the Art Week Rotterdam for instance, Boffi presented not only their new MA/U Studio Expo,
but also they exhibited a number of catch artworks of the Dutch Jenny Boot, in cooperation with
Public House of Art. And for this summer event, they had something special in mind as well!
Close to home
Ever since the existence of Boffi, they strive top quality where their kitchens are concerned. The same quality you will find in the layouts of their showrooms. Because Italian just know about aesthetics. When it becomes to Italian design, I always say: “It really doesn’t get any better.” Of course, I have not seen all of their showrooms, but if you ever visited Via Solferino in Milan, you definitely know what I mean.
So, it was quite logical that for this particular event, Boffi stayed close to home by inviting the Italian label Mingardo to present their beautiful design pieces.
Designer Faber collection
Mingardo is a young company. Daniele Mingardo has been working in his father’s workshop since he was 18. By the age of 25 and 40 years after the opening of the workshop, he launched his own brand Mingardo, in order to combine his passion for craftsmanship with his love for design.
He has been creating small batches of numbered collections of home furniture and accessories with metals, often combined with other materials like wood.
Recently, this young entrepreneur launched his Designer Faber collection. A true example of bringing together traditions and know-how, where metals such as copper, iron and brass are the star.
