AN ELEGANT MIX OF CULTURES
Over the years, the leading Italian company Minotti has built up a solid reputation worldwide
for contemporary furniture design and as an ambassador for a classic-modern lifestyle
in the residential and catering segments. They propagate the label “Made in Italy” with verve
and therefore I have been a fan of this brand for many years already. During the 59th edition of
Salone Del Mobile they would present a new seating system. Unfortunately, that party
did not take place due to Corona. Hence an online look at VITA DI LUSSO!
MODULAR SEATING SYSTEM
The award-winning modular seating system Quadrado was developed by the Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan of Studio MK27. Internationally recognized for its versatile composition and resulting from the desire to give character and personality to open-air spaces. A flexible and dynamic interior, with undisputed quality and comfort. Mainly designed for especially large living spaces, Quadrado now integrates a new, more compact version into its range. These can be combined with each other and are accompanied by wooden tables with trays and candlesticks. The whole can be arranged according to everyone’s wishes, so that each set-up has a surprising, yet blending effect and automatically adapts to small-scale urban, residential and hospitality concepts.
The Quadrado consists of a mix of authentic elements from Brazilian culture and contemporary, yet timeless Italian flair. Marcio Kogan was also inspired by the Japanese metabolism of the fifties and sixties, thereby achieving an elegant balance between culture and nature. Roberto Minotti, architect and co-CEO Minotti: “Our goal is to design sustainable, refined and high-quality products that cross the boundaries of time and trends. Furniture pieces, which are able to bridge styles and last for decades. We believe it is important to work with respect for our standards and values, in line with our vision of well-being, which has always characterized our brand philosophy. ”
