HIGH LEVEL COOKING WITH A CUSTOM MADE
URBAN LUXURY SIEMATIC KITCHEN
The residents of a spacious home in this striking building, located in the Pontsteiger in Amsterdam,
have more than just an affinity with kitchens. The master of the house is a very successful
hospitality entrepreneur, which means he knows how his own kitchen should look like.
Standard layouts are not his cup of tea and do not fit in this unique and cosmopolitan living situation.
Because of his profession he has a good eye for interior design matters and he surely knows
how to approach the right parties for every job. When it comes to kitchens, to him that is SieMatic.

PLENTY OF ROOM FOR UNCONVENTIONAL IDEAS
Although the brand was already known, the flagship store at the Vondelpark and the extensive kitchen program with the three lifestyles were not. The first “Urban” setup at the entrance – in matt black – was already a 100% hit. “We immediately connected very well with the advisor in charge, which certainly had a positive effect on the entire purchasing process. He listened very thoroughly to our wishes and thoughts. After that, the ideas were directly visually presented and especially the high degree of flexibility has pleasantly surprised us.” For example, a worktop with a rather uncommon size, both in length and width, was no problem. And the unconventional choice for an integrated double-drawer-fridge could also be realized via SieMatic.

THE ULTIMATE URBAN LUXURY FEELING
The appearance of this customized and personalized Urban kitchen does not only suit the home and the surroundings very well, but also the residents. In collaboration with the architect involved, they transformed the large, sterile and white plastered space into a warm and inviting kitchen. The dark, natural stone worktops and matt black fronts are combined with Red Cedar wood, which has been applied to the ceiling, walls and floor, which extends all the way to the loggia. This wood comes from De Houthaven nearby Pontsteiger, which gives this total interior design a local and sustainable statement as well. An extra long format table, covered with leather, has been chosen for the dining, which can easily accommodate ten people. A number of personal elements, such as a beautiful collection of cookbooks, favorite wines and spices, art and design objects, stylish cooking utensils and sturdy cutting boards ensure that cooking can now be done at a high level, both literally and figuratively!
